Small things in the trailer

23 seconds a bush or tree leaves (down the bottom) are drawn into the world.

Could this be the drawn distance for detail?

I cant wait to get a good pc and make different enemies fight each other, and this time it will look far better than oblivion's animations!!! This game looks like it will be my favorite game until the next elder scrolls. Thank you Bethesda!!! :obliviongate: :obliviongate: :obliviongate:

I guess so. One thing to consider is that the camera view is up pretty high, so the actual draw distance when you're on the ground will be further away (and fade in less obvious, even if the only reason it was somewhat obvious here when you looked at it was because of the speed of the dragon)

Awesome! I did miss alot of that. That isn't just any Horse its a friggen Clydesdale! Made for workin!

I think the guy getting his throat slit is an example of how the stealth system works now, he is in the shadow and so silent that those people are completely unaware!

The elf looks aware to me; palms up about to gasp. Maybe it caught a little blood spray and is about to freak.

I like this screen a lot because i remember reading about characters struggling to move when trapped in environmental hazards such as spider webs and you can see a lot of webs in this screen. If this is a dungeon and past dungeons had traps maybe we'll have a trap where you end up stuck in webs in specific dungeons or caves that have spiders.

Havok's Behavior Technology: Improved character and creature movements. Characters now transition more realistically between walking, jogging, and running. Combat animations are also improved as they were able to balance both first- and third-person perspective by adjusting the timing values for swings and blocks depending on your perspective. Even very detailed animations such as characters struggling to move when trapped in environmental hazards such as spider webs! “We definitely have made a significant jump in how it plays [in third person perspective],” Todd Howard proclaims.

If you can stop the video quick enough on the screen of the guy getting his throat slit, you can see two guys in the background. One is sweeping up, the other I think is walking to his left.

In the nighttime city shot, you can see a guy holding a torch on the left, as well as two women to the far right.

When he Dragon Shouts: You see a covered stone bridge
First City/Ruin: waterfalls everywhere
Forest Shot: Stone Head Ruin and two deer walking in the same direction
Night City Shot: Foundry/Smithy has glowing windows, maybe temple in the background, guard with torch
Day City: Longship figureheads on buildings, giant church/temple, low stone walls.
Seaside Arch City: Castle/Fort in Background, Stocky Horse with saddle, Moving windmill (moving mill-wheel inside) , Woodchopper splitting wood, Large harbour, Lots of Birds in the sky
Raging River: Moving water texture, currents?, water spray
Giant: Large footstep thud camera shake, swinging bones, club too large for PC?
Small Town: Thatched rooves (flamable?), Third person view, pouch on back of PC, Moving Water wheel, river, woman leaning on railing, man carrying lumber, too small carts,
Dragon Fight: Hero is missing sheath, yet at start of video he clearly has one.
Snow Troll: Eagle flying top right, creature taunts
Interior: Man playing Lute/Lyre Hybrid, woman on bar, woman behind bar swepping
Cave Staff Spell: Little creek running through area, waterfall on right, straight ahead is light (inside-outside dungeon?)
Man vs Man Fight: Dual-wielding with special animations, blood spray, man on left doesn't have sheath, man on right does?
Draugr Dungeon: Waterfalls, big fire explosion with blast black,
Elven Armor: No Sword Sheath,
Wolf+Archer: Great wolf turning animation and AI

So sword sheaths are still a mystery to me...not that it matters much

We all know this trailer is out pretty early in developement, so any major booboos that we see, bethesda employees will see (but probebly arleady know). Secondly, all graphics ect and things we notice will most likely be graphically upgraded a lot by the time Skyrim arrives. I am a graphics ho, so this is the stuff im itching for. I love Elder scrolls for its beautiful landscapes, graphics, realism. This is going to be one badass game i know, Cant wait 'till november.

While gaming is fun - real life is far better.

i have to say, Storm... you dont sound like a gamer to me, because of this signature... also, real life svcks [censored] through a straw, i'd rather die in front of a TV playing elder scrolls than experiencing the sad, pitiful world we live in.

anyway, back to the trailer... i really cant think of anything to say, im just in awe... and i cant stop watching it!

i have to wonder though, is the chase and battle with the dragon actual gameplay, or just a cutscene?

the fire looks INSANE! that part where dovahkiin shouts "FUS RO DAH!" is just spine-tingling... its almost too much to handle!

GODS, I CANT WAIT UNTIL 11/11/11!!!

Not sure why people think Dovahkiin said Fus Dro Ra. It sounds more like a hard to understand Do-Vah-Kiin to me .

Just under 9 months though before we find out. E3 can't get here soon enough.
