Can you walk a newbie through?

Hey all. I recently picked up Oblivion for the PC after enjoying it for years on my 360. I want to really make this game shine with mods, but I'm totally new to this. I'm a quick learner but I need some help.

Here are the mods I ultimately want to install (sorry for any incorrect names):

...

NOW (thanks for getting this far). Here are the mods I tried installing before I realized I'm in over my head (you will notice that the first 7 are ones from the list above):

Unofficial Patch:
http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=OblivionMods.Detail&id=1417

Dark UI Load Screens:
http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=OblivionMods.Detail&id=4440

Dark UI:
http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=11280

Colorful Map:
http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=3002

Sun Glare:
http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=OblivionMods.Detail&id=3525

Guild Map Markers:
http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=12675

Guard Overhaul:
http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=5977

Enhanced Weather / Skyboxes: ------
http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=16544

Streamlined Scripts:
http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=13092

...

...

OKAY. So, at least some of the ones I tried installing are working (such as Dark UI), but some I haven't had a chance to tell yet.

Please tell me how to get the mods in the first list into my game. Should I just delete what I have and start again? Help!

Thanks for reading this huge post.

As Shikishima said. Read that first.

Also, once you've done that, followed the advice there, and become familiar/comfortable with at least most of it, you might want to check out http://tesivpositive.animolious.com/ - there are a number of sections that will probably apply to you. For example, Tuning Oblivion -> Popular Outdated Mods. That's just the first page that I can see *will* be relevant to you. Others might be too, however. Very useful site, for a lot of people.

Thanks, sorry I overlooked those before. I have a more specific question though... The "All Natural" mod says it is compatible with some of the weather patterns from the "Enhanced Weather" mod, so how do I add the patterns from "Enhanced Weather" to the patterns already in "All Natural"?

As far as I can tell it already adds those. They are enabled by default in the ini file and the readme says at length not to install Enhanced Weather unless you want to use its SI plugin instead of the AN one.
