The trailer showed some snowy areas and non snowy areas but I'm curious about the snowy ones. The forest at the beginning was covered in snow but the snowfall was light and then one area that looked like maybe it was High Hrothgar was snowing hard.

Do you think certain areas in the game will always have snowfall no matter what and then some other areas will just have sporadic snowfall?

I don't think there will be any areas that are eternally snowy, IMO even High Hrothgar should have some sunny periods.

Looks like balls of cotton wool. I might have to replace those textures again.

Does it hit objects or still fall through?

I'm hoping that the snow looks really cool, but more than that, I'm hoping that they account for the snow muffling noise. Anyone who has been outside during a heavy snowfall should know what I'm talking about, how the snow makes everything seem quieter.

Judging from the trailer and the good graphics for which Skyrim displays I would not rule out such a possibility, as afterall, they are working hard in creating higher levels of atmosphere in the game. Snowfall and other weather types of sort/severity would be testiment to that.
