I was looking through upcoming movies for 2011, and I came across a movie called 11-11-11
First thing that came to mind was of course skyrim. I read the description of the movie an it said
"The story focuses on the date 11-11-11, a time when a supposed gateway will open and something from another world will come through",
and I once again thought Skyrim.

So my question is,what is the significance of the date?

Oh, come on. Are you really that superstitious? People used to say similar things for 1999 as the three 9's were supposed to form 666 upside down. Nothing really major happened in that year.
EDIT: in reality, Beth chose the date for two reasons: 1) It's a Friday, so people will be a able to jump in into their fresh copy in the evening and enjoy it on the weekend that follows uninterupted. 2) It's just a cool date

This is a funny coincidence for me. A while ago, I had this really weird feeling that something was going to happen on 11/11/11. Now I find out that its just for a game, but its for an awesome game.

My old stepdad believed the whole "millenium bug" thing, and every year after he decides this will be the year that everything goes to pot. I think he's getting annoyed that the world doesn't grind to a halt, as he looks more ridiculous each year.

Because the devs are lazy and they didn't want to create any other number in the font they used in the trailer.
