So, I was re-playing Morrowind and placed the green robe over my silver armor, and remembered how cool it was to go on a rampage with my spells, only for my enemies dagger to bounce of.
I just think it would be a nice feature, what do guys think?

What robes you want, colors of robes and clothes.
Should sliver be given an armor?
I would love for robes over armour to return,I thought mithril was the equivalent of silver? Anyway new armours would be great what about dragon skin armour to be this game's equivalent of daedric.

We have about 100 threads asking for more apparel slots again, but I don't see the need for that. I can already tell you the result. Most of us would LOVE stuff like that back, and a few people would like in the middle between OB and MW, and I have yet to see anyone satisfied with the way OB did it
I'd absolutely love robes over armour to return. Character customization is the defining feature of an RPG, you be who you want to be. If it was me at the wheel of Bethesda, i'd cram as much customization in as possible. =P But that's just me.

Well, I meant silver As an alternate for steel, the pattern on the silver longsword would look epic on an Armour. But you might be able to craft silver Armour, if it's a resource. Along with Gold.
And The dragon skin is a great Idea, would suite the Ranger's and assassins. A super-high leveled Leather?
I think there should be certain very light armors that you can wear heavy robes (like the ones in the trailer) over, or even a set or robes with hidden reinforcement, to allow the stealthier assassin to pass for a citizen.
robes over armor is good in a way, buy having something like super big heavy daedric armor then just sliding a robe over the top without it ripping does seem quite absurd
There indeed have been numerous threads asking for more armor slots to return, that level of visual customization was awesome in Morrowind and made Oblivion hard for me to play at first.
Honestly.
I think we need a hundred more threads like this tell Beth says this feature is coming back, or until they confirm it isn't. In the case of the later we should make it clear to them that its the wrong decision.
Yeah, I definitely miss that Robes+Armor. I can understand not having clothes + armor + robe because of enchanting issues, but I somehow doubt one more article is really going to throw off the balance, assuming mages would be allowed to wear clothing under the robe as well.
I think Robes should be added to the Light Armor category. Dragon-skin armor would be a nice Light Armor, and Dragon-scale armor for Heavy Armor. I would like to see pretty Light Armor now, please. In Oblivion the only Light Armor that looked remotely good was Leather and some pieces of Fur.

Maybe only be able to wear clothing/robes over/under armor that makes sense?
If it came down to a choice between the two, I'd actually prefer to see armor over robes. It provides new aesthetic options (the warrior priest/battle mage look), and frankly, the case could be made that it's more realistic.
you mean the soft easily mouldable metal that would be completely useless again everything from weapons, electricit, fire, and ice.. and gold armor i think would look quite awful
i like the idea of robes over light armor i remember first thing i tried to do in oblivion was put a robe over my armor then hey wait why did it unequip my armor
