How to use offhand weapon in Unnecessary Violence

I would have posted in the UV II thread but its at the 11'th page and going to get closed. Like I asked in the title, how can I place a weapon in the offhand? The description I saw was To toggle a weapon to/from offhand mode, in game mode, press and hold block, press and hold the UV modifier key and tap the UV attack key, but it doesn't work for me.

Can someone please explain how I can do that, since I chose blade and blunt as major skills especially for dual wield.

Edit: The only thing I could accomplish was to use this combination of keys, get a message that the weapon is set to offhand mode, but nothing happening, the weapon staying in the right hand

Edit2: I DID IT! It works now! :celebration: . It seems something was wrong with the weapon I was trying to put in my left hand.

But now that I started to use the offhand I notice that I don't advance in skill at all with the weapon I use with my left hand :( . Is this normal?

it's a bug in uv 1. fixed in uv2.

Thank you for telling me :) , I guess I will use two swords then so I won't notice the problem. I love dual wielding so far, can't wait for UV2 to be launched.
