I know there are so many rants about the next game taking place in the north (and I'm one of the people hoping it will), but this is a question to ask here.
What do you think has become of the cities Jehanna and Elinhir, as well as the entire border region about 60 years after the war?
While I assume Uriel VII "fixed" most of what happened during the Imperial Simulacrum, I somehow doubt he could erase all traces. Surely the Nords would be reluctant to give back these conquered cities.
I think these two cities and the roads to them are heavily guarded, while practically all other ground they made to Hammerfell and High Rock are back under the factual reign of these two provinces. The road between Elinhir and Dragonstar would be amongst the unsafest of the continent, as both sides claim it.
In diplomacy the Nords would call it a "fair loss" and urge to leave it as it is, while the other two nations try to regain influence one step at a time. ("Please give the native population a special statute. Please let us establish privileged trading" etc)
