This is my first time touching Wyre bash or python, I am very confused i downloaded python 03 and wyrebash 287. Installed wyrepython on the desktop, and manually placed wyrebash .rar files into their correct folders. I double clicked wyre bash launcher and nothing happend what did I do wrong?

Also, you should install Wrye Python to the default directory, which I believe is c:\python. If you are running Windows 7 or Vista, then you should install Oblivion outside of Program Files, otherwise you will have issues with the UAC (security). We suggest you install Oblivion to C:\Games or C:\Games\Bethesda Softworks.

If you don't use the defaults for Python, then you will have to edit the Wrye configuration files so it knows where Python is.

Edit: also, when you unzip 287, extract it into your Oblivion directory, not the data folder. Install Python first, then Wrye by extracting it as I said - it should work as long as Windows isn't interferring (UAC). Also use Wrye Python 3.

Windows 7/64 user here.

I had to right click on the Python Installer and choose "Run as Administrator" in order to get it to install correctly so that Wrye Bash itself would finally launch.
