http://search.yahoo.com/search?ei=utf-8&fr=slv8-yma2&p=Loveletter%20fifth%20era&type=, now just a date on a chart.

So... what did I just read? That isn't canon, correct? Care to explain it some more? I don't know all that much lore.

Many obscure texts are canon. It used to be believed they weren't, but they undoubtably can be. House Sul is apparently the mechanical insect offspring of Umbriel, the floating city. The scathing bay is the inner sea without vvardenfell. That's the who and where. The letter anolyzes the purpose of Lorkhan, Tamriel, and the world. Its a lament for 9/11, and a birthday gift for Kurt Khulman. The passages its quotes are taken from http://www.imperial-library.info/mwbooks/lessons.shtml#35, from the 36 Lessons of Vivec. You can find the Lessons at UESP or the Imperial Library.
