What is the best way to get footage from my Playstation 3 onto my computer and edit it with cool effects and music. I want to make some awesome movies.

What do I need to get good quality captures, and what software would you recommend for editing?

Can't say anything specific about capturing the footage, but there are capture cards. Just Google 'em and take some advice from other members.

I use Sony Vegas Studio 9 Platinum. Vegas will do more than what you need if you're just getting started. I'm still learning new things and I've been making videos with it for about a year now.

I got it going now. Had browser issues. Gonna watch it now.

Edit: OK very cool. Thank you. Might be a while before I get one though. Kinda pricy with software. Definitely on my list though.
