Arenas map was randomly generated - meaning there was no Imperial City or any city or anything i believe.

To make the entire map it would take bethseda ages

Think of how long it took them to make Skyrim, now take the entire game and divide it by how big skyrim is. Then times that number with how many years it took them just to make skyrim :D :P

What undead dragon said, and add to that the fact that Arena wasn't really detailed.

You gotta invest in a spellcheck or something because I had to read your post like 3 times before I got the jist of what you were trying to say. Also, Daggerfall isn't a province like Skyrim or Morrowind or Cyrodiil, it's just a city in High Rock.

There have also been a ridiculous amount of topics suggesting an Elder Scrolls game that takes place in all of Tamriel. The thing is, it's just too big. Even if they just copied Morrowind's layout (which would be canonically incorrect since Vvardenfell is gone) and Cyrodiil's and Skyrim's and then added the rest of the provinces, there would just be way too much going on. It would end up being quantity over quality, and that's bad. They couldn't make too many unique NPCs, so there would just be a bunch of generic clones walking around. It would also take way longer to make than usual.

The only way I see it working is if they made it an MMORPG, and I know I'm not alone in hoping that doesn't happen.

Interesting equation

Time to make whole of Tamriel = ((Time to make Skyrim + whole game of Skyrim (not unit of time?)) / size of Skyrim (also not time unit?)) x time taken to make Skyrim.

Anyone worked that out?
