I've decided that I'd like to add more gold to Nalcarya the Alchemist in Balmora. (My character rather likes her and he always buys his stuff at her place, and he also sells most of his potions to her). However, so far, I've been unable to do so... I tried a console command (add item etc) but that didn't work, so I thought I'd have to do it with the construction set. I wasn't succesful with that either.

I can't click on the AI tab to increase her amount of gold... So I was thinking, either I'm doing something wrong - or the CS doesn't allow editing NPCs. I googled it and did a search on this forum but couldn't find anything, so that's why I'm asking - can anyone help me with this? I

(I know that it's possible to give Creeper a huge amount of gold, but I don't want to do that as it would really unbalance the game - now I'm just trying to reduce the amount of time spent selling stuff. It's quite annoying to have to wait 24 hours after every twenty potions...)

Be very, very careful editing any NPCs that are part of the original MW/Trib/BM esms.

The reason you cannot edit Nalcarya is because she is "blocked" (see the little box in the lower right corner of your screenie?).

There's usually a very good reason for this.

But, if you want to "workaround" this (at your OWN RISK, mind you), create a new .esp, load Nalcarya up, and UNCHECK that box.
Save, Reload.

Now, you can give her all the gold you like, change her to an Orc, whatever...
(Save again, exit).

Just be sure you don't break anything else in the game.

First, you have to have a mod set as "Active" which is an .esp rather than an .esm. Double-click on Nalcarya's name to open up the display you linked. In the lower right corner there's a box named "Blocked". Uncheck this, close the display, and reopen it by clicking on Nalcarya's name again. The display will now appear with all the greyed-out boxes available to edit.

Now click on the AI button near the bottom center. In the window that appears, click the Services tab. There will be a box "Barter gold" which you can edit to show whatever amount you want her to have.

Click Save to close the AI window, check the Blocked box, and click Save to close Nalcarya's window. Whichever mod you had selected as Active now changes Nalcarya's barter limit.
