Cant create black soul gem (possible mod conflict?)

Ok for some reason I am not able to create black soul gems. I followed all the instructions and I still cant get a black soul gem. Im thinking it might be a mod causing some type of conflict with it. Here are the mods I have. Could it be moriarcis thats causing this? I keep hearing how the mod is very buggy and completely messes up your save games if you try to disable it.

Not sure about this particular issue, which I see you have covered in another thread as well BTW, but you should:

? 05 Oscuro's_Oblivion_Overhaul.esm [Version 1.33] - Update to OOO 1.34 Beta 5. Both MMM 3.7b3p3 and FCOM_Convergence 0.9.9MB3 require it.

? 0B UOP Vampire Aging & Face Fix.esp [Version 1.0.0] - You can skip this and use the Bashed Patch setting instead. Saves a slot.

? 0C Oblivion Citadel Door Fix.esp - You can skip this. Probably not needed.

? 1D Oscuro's_Oblivion_Overhaul.esp [Version 1.33] - Update to 1.34 Beta 5.

UV make changes to soulgems, that could be the culprit.
There is a ini tweak to disable the soulgem feature from UV, try if that makes any difference or disable the mod.

Well I disabled almost every addon besides FCOM and I still get the same problem. Im going to do a full reinstall and see if that fixes it. Im just gonna hate setting up fcom again.

Ok here is a suggestion use a soul trap that is ranged not touch. I did not see any thing else that could be a problem. I have only ever used the ranged version never touch so I dont know if that could be the problem.

I tried using ranged soul trap still didnt work. I got a fresh install now, tried to insall FCOM using BAIN and failed so im gonna go back to the original method will post results later.

I can't help but think you're doing something wrong on your side, but no idea what, though. FCOM shouldn't affect this one way or another. But too late now I guess.
