Well, my point was that it's not an opinion, it's untrue. A midrange card from the past few years will likely run every game on max, a high end card from 6 years ago is only just starting to be the minimum required for very high end games, and plays the vast majority of games on high settings. If what you had said was an opinion, that'd be fine - but it's not, it's an objectively false statement.
Very true, the problem is that many is buying marginal systems to save money but a budget pc has a much higher lifetime cost than a mid range one.
Yes the other end is also true a 5.000$ computer can be bought for 2-3.000 a half year later.
