Psst. Where is....How do I get to.....

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 9:02 am

Hello everyone. I am starting a new game. I am trying to start something new. I am going to try and let this community be the NPCs of the game Morrowind. By that I mean I will ask questions as to where something might be. I will give my location and then you can say, well it's east of here, look out for this or what not. Please no spoilers. Pretend you are a Morrowind NPC or even your player character and then you can tell me where to go. (If you are a rude chacrater yeah tell me where to go LOL lets have fun with this.) The only rule is I ask for no spoilers. This is for un and try to liven up our games.

This is not just for me, but for anyone who wants to try this. So if you want to know where to go, as, where is the {what ever you need} then someone can say "to get to {what ever you need} head up north and either look around this land mark, ask the population or villiagers there. Then you come back and say I am so and so, how do I get to blah blah.

So I will start it off.

"I am a stranger to Vvardenfall. I just got off the boat. I am in Sedya Neen. I am in need of money. Does anyone have any suggestions as to where I can go to earn some extra coin? It is nite and raining outside, and I have no where to go. Where can I go for some shelter that will not cost me any money?"

So without giving any spoilers please pretend you are in Seyda Neen and help me like you would a stranger asking for direction or help in real life. Just rememeber no spoilers please.

You could go that cave that's around the corner, kill some bandits, get some loot, and spend the night. Just be careful and try not to die.

Seyda neen isn't very keen in hiring people for jobs. We also don't have available renting space, I'm afraid. If you follow the road out of town up to the Strider port, you can take a trip to Balmora which should offer better advantages.

"Between you and me, i hear the local tax office have lost one of their workers! I'd ask around or search through the marsh for the poor n'wah. There might be a reward in it.

If you solve the murder mystery, gold and your first small house may await! Or just go to Ald'ruhn or Balmora ;)

The drinks are on me. Thank you guys. I just made it out of that bandit cave that was suggested. I also did what someone else suggested and found myself a nice "precious"

{good thing I can gloat and not worry about getting mugged for my belongings :twirl:}

I just stumbled apon the tax collector. I was able to find out who did it, so I got some extra money now, and I have my 1st house in Vvardenfall. Life is looking good now. It was a close call in that bandit cave, so I think I will have to stay away from them a bit.

I see some isles to the south. I am wundering if I should check them out.

{yes I have MGE installed so my distant view is a bit longer so I can see futher, I also have the offical plug ins installed, but I do not see that island visually. These are very small. I also have some other mod which I forget the name, but it added lots of land mass on the east side of Vvardenfall. }

"I am curious as to where to go now? I see on my map there is a large land mass on the east of Vvardenfall. It looks interesting, but I think I will wait till I go visit there."

"Well it's time to enjoy my newly aquired cot, so cheeres everyone. The next round is on me"

I could give you the advice they gave me when I first got here. I asked how to get to balmora and you know what they told me? They told me to go north! simple as that. I was lost in the gods forsaken swamp for days before I found some miserable little fishin village. Hla something it was called. Oh and if I was you, I'd watch out for that creepy little Fargoth fellow. I felt sorry for him and helped find a missing ring once and now he wont stop giving me wierd looks and he keeps saying: "you and I are about to become VERY close." :hubbahubba: :eek: :bolt:

I love the fact that you never get straight directions to get anywhere from anyone. I've been through the MQ a dozen times and if I don't get hopelessly LOST a few times, It gets boring.

Take a little walk outside of town Outlander. I am sure some good fortune will fall out of the sky into your lap.

"Listen here n′wah, keep your eyes away from Camonna Tong affairs. We dont like snotty outlanders coming here asking stupid questions and YOU wont like having your throat slit at night! It′s a win-win situation, got it?" An mostly ordinary Dunmer citizen says to you, he got a Chitin dagger on his belt... He suddenly starts to smile a little too big.
"Anyways, go join the Fighters Guild in Balmora or Vivec or something if you need work to do and money to spend. Accept all their orders and eventually you may actually be something..."
