Natural Dangers.

You know what I felt lacking in oblivion? Natural dangers. Yeah sure in the deadlands there was the occasional cliff rocks and that. But wouldn't it be cool if you walked by a risky ledge on the side of the mountain. Too much weight?*CRACK* fall down to your death. Of course it would be annoying if it happen against your will, so you would need good Athletics to cross. How about those streams? If you misstep *Floooooshh!* the stream washes you up like a ragdoll downstream bashing you against the rocks and walls of the river! What about really cold places were blizzards are prolonged? Would it hurt you from so much cold? Wouldn't the wind blow on you as you try to climb the hazardous mountains of the north. Something this game needs.

This doesn't sound as a bad idea but then I think of the coding they have to do for all this. I don't know if it's too much coding or not but it sounds like a challenge for them but I wouldn't mind it. :obliviongate:

Go on the ice, fall down stupidly, get a concussion, lose intelligence.

Sounds good to me!
:banghead: = :bonk:

It would be nice, but too much of them would make exploration quite frustrating. I wonder if Dragon Shouts can cause avalanches.

Would be interesting, I'm more concerned about whether there will be better traps in dungeons or not. Almost all of Oblivion's were so blatantly obvious, and even if they weren't you had to be sprinting facing the ground to get hit by it.

Yep, I'd like slipperiness, thin ice, etc. to be in. Avalances, oh....dragonshout below unstable snow slope? Whoops! If destrucable envrionments, then how about shrapnel or falling trees? Stuck in bog, and of course, no sleeping outside in the tundra...those damn mosquitoes! :toughninja: :P

edit: psst, blatant bumps are illeagal here...just be more eloquent ;)

I'd love natural dangers like this. Falling through ice and if you're unlucky being trapped underwater as the surface has refrozen, etc. :D

Go on the ice, fall down stupidly, get dragged down below the ice by a Volkihar. Become vampire snack.

Fixed.

I agree, those kind of things would be fun, just not if it happens too much.
