I first ran into this when trying to complete the "Concern for Nulfaga" quest, no matter what I do the game freezes when I try to exit the inventory screen after claiming the reward. I was hoping that this was just something to do with whatever the game calculates after this particular quest is done, as I had already done several merchant and mages guild quests with various types of rewards with no problems. I decided to just let that quest go unfinished and edit reputations later, so I continued on doing other things. Now I have run into the same problem from completing a random mages guild quest, and oddly a variety I had already been able to finish a couple of times before. The only difference here is that the game is locking up when I click off of the quest completion dialogue (no inventory screen). I've done a number of searches and I can't find any mention of this problem, but has anyone here experienced this? Any ideas what to do? I have already tried fixsave and reinstalling. I'm running the game on windows 7 from the install file (w/preconfigured dosbox) from uesp.net. No other issues besides the classic bugs. Thanks!
