The description for most effects is supeficial: Sphere of NEgation must be a hell of an effect, as it costs most per strike!

But specifically, I cannot understand the difference between Vampiric Touch x Effect (at strike). The former costs more, but what does it do? And Energy Leech? The wiki is not clear on any of this...

Should I understand that "Paralysis" immediately paralyses the foe? Coz Vampiric effect allows no save at strike, only at range... This is stuff I cannot grasp clearly.

Any advice, pls shout!
