Feeling like the Nerevarine

Ever had a character that you felt was the Nerevarine more than the others?

My first character I finished the Morrowind MQ on was an imperial who did the Imperial Legion questline all the way through first (In uniform).

Then he did the MQ, and I was like "This Imperial Legion knight commander is the savior of the Dunmer? No way, BS.

My second character was a Dark Elf, who did house Hlaalu all the way through before the MQ. And I thought to myself "This Imperial sympathizing businessman is the reincarnation of Nerevar, come to save the Dunmer? No thanks."

Needless to say I kept feeling this way whenever I played a character, until I RP'D an Ashlander Warlock (Thanks to Aragon's Ashlander Tent Mod- that really helped) And dungeon crawled + miscellaneous adventuring to level 30 before starting the MQ. He fought with a magic and a spear, and when I finished the MQ, I totally felt that this character was the Nerevarine.

So have any of you ever made a character you felt particularly suited the role of the Nerevarine more than your others?

I've only played the Nerevarine once, Councilman Galvon Rethan of House Hlaalu, Royal Guard and Knight Errant of his cousin King Hlaalu Helseth.

Galvon is one of the most un-Hlaalu Hlaalu members you'll see :P

Of course. I did tailor one specifically for the MQ... A Dunmer Champion. Boring! :meh:

The most fun I had with the MQ was playing a Khajiit. Lived on Moonsugar and Sujamma, and pretty much stole everything in Vvardenfel that wasn't nailed down. An affable kitteh that wouldn't hurt a flea on his back though. Nice dichotomy.

Caius Cosades: "Hassour Zainsubani is an Ashlander who left the wastes... blah blah blah"
Swift Paw: *loses focus do to copious amounts of sugar in the room*
Caius Cosades: *waves hands about in aggravation* "Swift Paw? Are you with me here"?
Swift Paw: "Sugar"?

My Dunmer girl felt most appropriate.

My imperial guard girl also seems to naturally slide into the role.

But my dunmer wins. Which is wierd, since she's such a hedonist.

I made an Argonian war priest who finished the Tribunal Temple and House Redoran before starting the MQ and it felt that he was the perfect fit for the role, he not only forgave the dunmer for his race's enslavement, but strived to learn of their culture and fit in, helping them whenever he could, including becoming the nerevarine and liberating them from the "evil" clutches of Dagoth Ur. I'm sure more than a few dumber weren't pleased about it being an Argonian, but they can svck it up, he was a good guy.

My Nord adventuress did the same thing. Of course her people hadn't been enslaved but she does her best to help any Dunmer that asks.

My Dunmer Ordinator assigned to assist Redoran eventually lost his zeal, and opened his eyes. subsequent events led him to becoming the Nervarine.

Typically, an Indoril-born Ordinator wouldn't really think to be crowned Nerevarine, since he denied it himself. Though out of curiosity, when he wore Moon and Star, things got a little...depressive.

Though in the end, he overcame the feelings, defeated Dagoth Ur, and earned the respect of the temple.

*applause*

My argonian was born into slavery, but he was more or less adopted into a family, as a son and brother. Not a worker or servant or anything.
So he's apathetic.

But he's powerful enough as it is (see sig link), so I don't allow him to be considered the Nerevar.
