Aside from Tamriel and Akivir, are there any other known landmasses?

Pyandonea is a (sub?)continent located a ways south of the Summerset Isles. The Maormer (sea elves) make their home here, and not much is known about it aside from alleged ritual practices. Interestingly, its location is given to us by a http://www.imperial-library.info/maps/pyandonea.gif in Daggerfall. Perhaps the most interesting obscure lore contribution the game has made to the series.

Aldmeris doesn't actually exist (in this kalpa).

Has this been enlarged? Meaning is there a larger version of this gif?

Was the globe mentioned in DF? Or is it a kind of easter egg?

A little question I've always wanna ask...

Besides the known continents (those who in most ways border Tamriel) Do we know if there are even continents beyond the known ones and do we know the size of Tamriel compared to Nirn....

Afaik, no idea. I suppose we know as much about the world of Nirn as much as the Europeans in the middle ages did about our own geography. That globe gives an idea of Tamriel's size on Nirn but it could easily be inaccurate.

They would be known if we knew.

I don't think we could have something with the whole size of Tamriel, Tamriel is sort of the same size as Pangea, you would probably have smaller continents, but i don't think it can logically get any bigger than Tamriel, maybe with the whole 'can't comprehend how it looks' idea it is possible, but i don't think it could happen

Tamriel is the size of Pangea? I really doubt that, unless each nation in Tamriel is extremely huge. Just Asia alone looks like it would be much bigger than Tamriel. I don't actually know though.

I always thought Tamriel around the size of Europe or Australia... And that Akavir would be around the same size...

Thats the way it looks to me, i mean think about it, you have this gigantic mass of land which has pretty much every single biome and climate, sure the game makes it look small, but the way i see it, every single province is a continent on it's own, i think Summerset would be around the size of Australia, maybe china even!

As far as I know you're looking at it. Daggerfall used sprites for objects.

If you want to make it larger, with any modern web browser you can zoom in using ctrl + or ctrl and Mouse Scroll.
