I'm putting together a team to try to get battlespire multiplayer running again and I was hopeing to recruit as many people willing on the forum as possible to try to help. So anybody who has battlespire and is willing to try lets find out as much info as possible and set up dates to try. So far I have only found that the original server that it used is no longer available so we'll have to create a server through DOSBOX. I hope we can get it running again. Then maybe we can challenge bethesda to a game.

Also, to make multi-player much easier, I've setup a multiplayer DOSBOX IPX Server for us all, so that we don't have to deal with firewalls and such. IP is 109 74 192 217 : 213

Woah woah woah, Sur_Warlock wanting to play Battlespire? Insanity! But I would be down as well. I seem to recall me and Sur_Warlock trying this before through DOSbox and it not working.

Looks like things are comeing together pretty quickly. I truely didn't expect so many people so fast. Just an update, the IP I posted before, the host for that is currently down (out of my control) and my actual connection will not allow anyone in without using Hamachi. We should get on IRC or something really. D:

I probably won't be able to really do anything till next weekend now, sadly. This is midterm and project season at my university, and my weekdays are pretty swamped.

Allright thats fine I'm haveing to put the project on hold too for a little while my computer is acting up and saying i need a windows vista product key and i can only open a webpage right now and it sends me to a page to bug a product key from microsoft for 150. but hopefully we can set a date in the future when we're not too busy to get it working.

If your computer came with windows vista then the key should be on the back of your comp I'm pretty sure. Same thing happened to me a couple times.

I'm sorry I wish i could go on with this but I can't get to it until next month sorry. My computer messed up with me and I had to restore it to factory default and I don't have the battlespire disk with me right now so It won't be until next month for me to get it.

It's finally time to revive this topic. I get my new copy of battlespire in two week. But even better news I found someone willing to play battlespire multiplayer in the comeing months. Nick breckon the bethesda forum is thinking of doing a let's play series of all the elder scrolls and I asked him if when he gets to battlespire if he would like to play a game of multiplayer against us and he agreed. So lets get this working.

alright we can try a little afther christmas if your still on break, my girlfriend is getting it for me for christmas since i can't find the disk. So our team is going to be me, sur warlock, and arctus? I wonder when nick is going to start and who his team is going to consist of? Also anyone got any ideas on strategies?
