This may seem like a really stupid topic for a tread, but try to bare with me (or just ignore me! :wink_smile: )

I've always had trouble deciding on names (when it came to characters, blogs, email adresses, ect).
I will be getting a Console this summer, and wanted some opinions on some of my ideas so far, or maybe even some new ideas to help me come up with more!
You could also tell me how you came up with your own gamer/internet tags, if you want.

Actually, I really wouldn't mind a Elder Scrolls related name (since its my favorite series) as long as is was original, but there are a lot of possibilities with that....
I'm also sort of an anime nerd (hence the Otaku Jim tag) I'm also a bookworm.....hmm, Bookworm Jim => Earthworm Jim? heheheh.

Hmm, some TES nicknames that come to mind.....Daedric Jim, Ordinator Jim, Dwemer Jim (yeah, I sort of want Jim in it since it's my RL nickname, and I like the sound)

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if those weren't taken... Everyone seems to go for descriptive names that the normal ones are all probably overlooked

Then, if you are even worried about it, the only thing to look out for is trying to make a name someone can recognize and call out, that you will recognize, in a split second.

I agree if I cant call out their name instantly I usually just call them something insulting like "[censored] face with the sniper". I would also recommend trying to keep all of your gamertager/forum stuff similar. An example is that all of my names have crazy monkey in it. Its a little pet peeve when people just have random names every time the make a profile somewhere.

Yeah, thats another thing to consider. Thats sort of why I prefer things that I can add 'Jim" to either at the beginning (Jymjak) or the end.
