Its hidden away. Yes. Noone can find it.

i just passed through caldera, with the sound off im afraid to say. and i say this because i dont have a clue who could have said the next phrase:

"It's hidden away. Yes. Noone can find it."

my guess its a guard, or a woodelf, as they were closest to me when i saw the subs and realized what it read.
but is this a reference to some nice loot or could anyone in morrowind say it?

i know the things the NPC's in morrowind say never really are something to take serious, but i never saw this one.

im hoping its the start of a fun little quest, to discover some secrets about the guy who said this.
but my guess is that its nothing.
tell me pretty please :P

The Argonians say this sentence. It's one of the many "idle talks" NPC say. :)
I believe it's a direct reference to Lord of the Rings. ;)

I think I heard that back when I had Morrowind... Pretty funny. I think Nords or Bosmers also say that... Most people can say that I think... Perhaps the Argonians too... or so I think.

Note the I think part of each sentence

I believe Imperials rate the relative merits of dinner plates. That cracks me up.

Bretons actually.

"The blue plates are nice, but the brown ones seem to last longer" indeed!

I felt insulted when I entered a tavern and heard a Nord not too far away from me say to himself:

"What makes this smell?"

There is actually an Argonian wandering around in the town of Caldera that, if you pick the 'latest rumours' dialogue option, talks about overhearing someone bragging about hiding a stash away in a cave somewhere... you can draw your own conclusions about how to act on it...

Idle pvssyr can be disturbing at times.

One time, I was RPing a crazy Klepto.
I was running around Solsthiem, completely in the buff (Breton, with no magic skills, lulz), when I entered the Fort, and proceeded to look around for stuff to swipe. On the second floor, I believe, I passed an Imperial guard in a corner, he proceeded to turn around and proclaimed: "Mmmm... Pudding"
I probably laughed for 5 minutes.

I watched my brother play oblivion long before I played Morrowind, and having watched him do the Glathier quests, when i heard some Dunmer say "Someone's watching me, I can tell", I naturally went over ever topic 10 times looking for the quest.
