I've been doing fine with the riddles up till now, but I got to one that I don't even really understand. I'm not asking for the answer, just some hints. Anyways, this is the riddle that is blocking me from getting the next piece of the staff of chaos.

"My second is performed by my first,
And, it is thought,
A theif by the marks of my whole
might be caught.

Who am I?"

So anyone have any hints they would like to offer? :banghead:

Nevermind, I had the right answer for a couple days now, but I kept pluralizing it. :shrug:
