I was going through the region north of Maar Gan and I saw this house called Shishi or something like that and I figured I would check it out. I entered and saw a Redoran guard and spoke to him. After I left the dialogue he attacked me and all the other Redoran guards did, too. After checking for loot I saw a note that was entitled "Shishi report" and I looked it up on the Wiki. Apparently I just murdered the guards of the House I was going to join and fudged up the quest. My question is, can I still join Redoran and possibly do the quest? Thanks.

Yes, you can still join. Not sure if you can still do the quest (keep the report, FYI.) However, its the second-to-last quest from this one quest giver, and his quests are not required to reach the highest rank in Redoran, so...

Basically, you only did a minor screw-up that will prevent you from completing a non-required questline for the house advancement, and said quest was near the end of said non-required questline... So... You didn't really cause anything to require a restart.

YES! Thanks for the help and I did keep the Report just in case.

I'm going to work from memory on this, but I think the quest can still be completed since you kept one of the two quest objectives and didn't say anything about messing with the other one.



I don't think you get dinged on your rep with Redoran for defending yourself when you weren't a member.
