Is that a rhetoric question? :)

Well I guess generic frozen, hostile and somewhat inhabitable landmass would fit the picture perfectly.
If you want real world anology, Greenland is prime candidate. Well it is my prime candidate :).

Greenland has no forest. I don't imagine anywhere on Tamriel to be just a load of ice, and Atmora's name suggests that it has woodland. I think it's more like Iceland, where there is some forest, some plains, and a lot of snow ;)

Or like Solstheim.

Oh, and apparently, Qinngua valley in Greenland has the island's only forest.

He supposedly fathered the Vampires, when he [censored] a woman, and some mutants from when he [censored] Vivec.

He has a daedroth minion in Morrowind, and his daughter Molag Grunda (presumably he [censored] her mother) is a winged twilight.

Daera aren't supposed to be able to procreate, though, so [censored] knows how he did it, but maybe he has an affinity with these daedra over others. So, mutants, vampires, daedroth and twilights seem the closest bet to what he would have in his realm.

Eh, I didn't realise this was censored now. The word means "non consensual six".

More like defiled her as an affront to Arkay, instead of having her mother an abomination as an affront to Arkay.

Probably, but I imagine it's mostly set up as a http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/DarkWorld version of Tamriel.
