Minor Issues

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 9:45 pm

The splattering of blood is perfectly timed during the Dragon fight sequences, but during the fight of the two men at 1:36, we see that the blood splatters before the point of impact, and when there is actually no impact at all.

Again, at 1:33, when we knock the Draugr's head off his shoulders, the blood doesn't splatter from the head or neck, but from the http://i324.photobucket.com/albums/k352/Driver1830/skyrim_1.jpg?t=1298879885. Being so thin and pale, I would actually not even expect him to bleed. At this exact same shot we also see that the players fingers go through the Axe handle; the grip is too small for that Dwemer (?) axe.

Another issue I noticed was how weird the http://i324.photobucket.com/albums/k352/Driver1830/Skyrim_underarm.png?t=1298879832 looks when the character takes an upper swing at the dragon. It looks folded, crinkled, or maybe stretched.

I know it's a video game, and it's bound to have a few minor kinks here and there, especially when you're trying to implement so many beautifully done models and animations ( I absolutely love how the dragon's tongue moves around), but I thought I'd bring them some attention. Did anyone else notice these, and did anyone notice anything else?

All the more reason to point out the small stuff so that they can take a look and see if it's worth fixing.

Exactly, there's plenty of time to fix minor things like this, such as the windmill rotation mentioned in another thread. I'm sure these are things they want to hear.

It was proven that the windmill wasn't rotating the wrong way.

Worth noting that they probably noticed these things themselves seeing how they are so obvious....
and also that they are 8 months from release and they are probably working there asses off trying to make this game as perfect as possible by fixing small things like these.
