bands in morrowind? [poll]

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 4:21 pm

I don't see my comments as being stupid, and I don't think your idea is stupid. I wasn't being sarcastic when I said 'Good luck.'
No need to get defensive, I think I just missed the initial idea of your mod. I thought you were going to make these bands, and have them play their songs. But it seems like you're making more of an in-game music player, which has been done before, but you're adding the new idea of having NPCs actually "playing" the music that we can pick ourselves. Great!
The poll confused me, because it implies that's not what the mod is about.

Also, "good modern music" is relative. ;)

sorry about the outburst earlier... i was frustrated at other things and i shouldnt have posted some of the insulting stuff, but i guess it added a little clarity to this whole idea

Dragon Force and such cannot be labeled as "good modern music" in any world.

Personally I don't see the reason to bother with so much scripting and animating just to be able to listen to band that can't even perform it's own solos.

i'll have you know tht bands like dragonforce are awesome, in many people's opinion. killswitch engage, not so much, but i bet you just heard about through the fire and the flames on GH3 and how its unpassable random solos the whole time, and the only reason that they cant repicate that performance was because it was probly done in a very large amount of takes, and there was a little bit of drastic audio effects. try litening to soldiers of the wasteland, black fire, EPM, strike of the ninja, to name a few.

i may have apologised for nuking Pluto about his misconception about the mod, but im not to you. you dont even know thet dragonforce is one word, so quit talking bad about a great band. :mohawk:

i would like to ask again that no one starts critisizing the bands listed (unless i do first, so killswitch is fair game. lol)

EDIT: as you can tell, i can get emotional about my music. music is great and your own opinion is yours, but your opinion is not always the best thing to say.

OK, this topic doesn't really seem to be going anywhere and the question has been answered: you have been pointed to a link where you can download a mod which is scripted so that you can put your own music collection into folders to play it in your own game.

You don't have permission to distribute songs by Dragonforce, Aerosmith etc. in a mod to other users, so you would not be able to start a release topic for a mod based around uploading their music, and it seems there is little demand for Aerosmith songs in Morrowind.

I would recommend you simply use the mod you were linked to earlier in the topic, make your own in-game playlist and let the matter drop.
