I'm confused now i'm aware that archetypes are not classes and such but how can i figure out what is required to be able to have a security faction character and get. The eel items and pretty much the same with a resistance character how do i know what i'll need to do to get. The anger unlocked?

Just play until you unlock everything, Appearance customization pieces are unlocked through leveling up. Wraith, the forum demi-god, said that The Anger is unlocked at level 20... which is a good solid chunk of playing.

I believe that I understand the question here.

The way you unlock equipment for characters is leveling related, I believe. I cannot tell you how exactly to get them, but I believe that is it.

If I recall correctly, The Anger is one of the last things in the game that you unlock. At level 20, I believe.

But uh, on a slightly more serious note... don't you just unlock stuff through leveling and completing challenges and such? (I could be wrong...)

I guess you can always:

a.) wait for a better answer
b.) wait to play the game
c.) buy the game guide book
d.) try Google(?)

Leveling up and possibly challenges, though possibly challenges will introduce non-archtype based items to customize your character with. I would think by level 20 you would have unlocked every arch type in the game regardless of which side you played on primarily seeing as one character can play either side.

I bet that was intentional. Hey, we're going to make all the noobs fall madly in love with something they won't have the patience to unlock! SD are awesome.
