Ok guys I know you hear this a lot and is annoying, but i need to install the game correctly with mods without errors..
If you could post some mods that you play and your game worked fine.

Even the easiest to install mods can be installed "incorrectly" resulting in a game with errors. I'm currently running 150 mods and plan on installing another 150+ more. All of mine run without errors (so far!). But I'm using OMM (or BAIN), Wrye Bash, and TES4edit. Do you use these tools?

I don't think of mods I trust; I think of modders. So a sort list would be:

Anything by Tejon, Corpec, The Nice One, Arthmoor, Adonnay (although his do need to be cleaned), and others (these just came to mind).

I trust an FCOM install, but it requires patience and knowledge of the tools above and others. I understand OOO has an easy install and I would trust that. :)

I just don't use TES4Edit because I don't know what to do with it or how to use it -.-
Its about conflicts.. I fear that.. example: The last install.. contained Snow Dragon Temple I went there with a nice character and well its all fine but the smithy there didn't sell anything.. and all I ever wanted to buy was a katana
I fear that I don't use up-to-date mods or working versions..
I think that if I buff the game too much =\ low fps crap
Too many mods result in constant crashes, low fps, broken AI, missing meshes and other stuff, I don't even know if some mods work ( Streamline does it work at all? It didn't seem to change anything... )
Using OBSE results in halving my FPS, I just want to be able to see far, see NPC's or creatures at longer distances, I plan on getting a stronger PC but I need money for that...
I want my game to be difficult, filled with lots of creatures, NPC's btw Toaster's Recruitment mod I always had huge problems with aggro...
TIE i really want to use that mod with FCOM but how????
Please help me at least a little...
I want to use Supreme Magicka... bummer needs OBSE...

Uh, no it doesn't. :glare:

Using a mod that needs OBSE might do that, but OBSE definitely doesn't do that itself. It doesn't even run during Oblivion, for crying out loud...

No, you're simply going to show me that launching Oblivion with OBSE cuts your FPS, not that OBSE is responsible. It definitely doesn't constitute as proof, and I don't need you to try proving anything to me...

The command is tdt.

Wrinklyninja is right. One obvious mod would be Streamline. Are you running streamline? That'll do it.

Another possibility is you're using OBGEv2 with some shaders. They don't show up as mods, but some (SSAO especially) will have a large performance hit.

I guess you're right.. well for some reason before.. without OBSE FPS 50-65, with OBSE it halved... 30-40 i think i wasn't using any mods...

Kinda odd that I have never experienced this... I played for a bit and well I visited some bandits however when I got somewhere in range of 20-30 meters the bandit pulled out a weapon but he didn't see me.. yet and I hid myself and after a while the bandit returned back to his position. I did the same thing again and the other bandit started searching around a bit.. I was confused "Could it be possible that they are smarter :eek: "
By the way... I really would like to use T.I.E. but with which mod could I use it with? ( I was thinking OOO, MMM, Fran's ? )

Given your mistaken beliefs about OBSE, you obviously have some screwy ideas about mods and how they are installed/work. XD You need to read. Every mod has a readme. Follow the installation instructions, don't take shortcuts. Don't skip the readme cause you're in a hurry.

Load order matters. Some mods need to be in certain places in your load order to work properly. Many of these mods will tell you in their readme's, some wont. Here is a handy tool for adjusting your own load order. - http://devnull.sweetdanger.net/loadorder.html
Again, reading is required.

Use tools like OMM, Bain, Boss or Wrye Bash for Oblivion install. They will help you with adjusting your load order, and in the case of Bash and Boss, even tell you where some mods belong, as well as point out possible conflicts.

As Wrinkly said, OBSE does not do anything to your fps. It's not a mod. It's a program some mods USE while running.

Things that WILL hit your fps? Any mod that adds a load of new NPC's. AI will hit your fps because the game suddenly has more to process. If you have a rig on the lower end of the spectrum than you are going to notice this more than others. I personally chug a bit in cities because I use Crowded Cities. :D I don't mind the chugging. I'd rather have a busy city. It's not the fault of the mod, but rather of my rig's inability to handle the extra processing efficiently.

The lesson here is to not just blame mods across the board for your game's issues. Sometimes, usually, it's that you've missed something or are simply not mod saavy enough yet to handle your load order yourself. Do some reading.

In most cases http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=20516 will take care of your load order automatically. You still need to read the instructions, but it is an extremely simple tool to use.

I wasn't sure about OBSE but screwy ideas about mods and installing them? :facepalm: I guess you miss understood me badly what I meant was I am not sure about using some mods are they up to date or not... I read readme's always even CorePC's readme's that make me go nuts when he writes has instead of as... xD

Remember that? well does that happen to you in a unmodded vanilla, yes! vanilla version? If I add mods will that behavior be changed?

Okay, so you know what OBSE does and you can use OMM, BOSS, and Wrye.

Mods that don't conflict with any other mod but still give you "those nice items addes by Frans or OOO"? Why not just install OOO and Frans, if you understand OMM/BOSS/Wrye Bash?

http://www.tesnexus.com/ that has a kazillion mods for Oblivion. It has a wonderful search feature that allows you to find mods by topic. Type in "lighting" or "weather" and see what come up. Then, read the comments to see if anyone is having problems with them. Then, visit the forum and read about mod. And then download the mod and, as you always do, read the readme.

I liked it at first before I realized that using that with HDR = disaster.. so I don't want to use that, but it does contain a good weather mod however NE makes the stuff beautiful! If I could use it without Natural Interiors then yes...
