this would be awesome cause it would give the game so much more feeling. you should be able to kill people you cattch too.

yes yes and yes!!! As long as you can know that you got pick-pocketed and you could catch the person that pick-pocketed some one else so that you could get a reward.. If not then no and no and still yes to the third one. I would still laugh at the NPC that got pick-pocketed! :tongue:

Haha i have no problem with them trying to steal from me, i would cut them down where they stand. But I play in 3rd person, for the most part, and I will see them creeping up behind me so I Don't think it'd work. Also would you really want to steal from the Dragonborn, famous for his/her ability to kill... Only if you got a death wish or are a Bosmer, They're not all there, (I'd rename them madelves if I had the PC version of oblivion.)

That's what thieves do. They steal valuable things. It would add a more real feature to the game, but it should not be overdone. It should just be on rare occasions with modifiers based on your rep, level, time away and the location of your house.

I like the idea of me not being the only thief

It'd be pretty fun chasing a thief down the streets and tackling him to the ground to get your stuff back.

Yes...and no. As cool as it would be, I just don't see myself loving the fact that I worked incredibly hard to collect _____ just to have it disappear without me knowing how. Perhaps if you could have protected chests in your house that are set to kill anyone who breaks into them... or something. :wacko:

I would definitely love to have NPC's robbing other NPC's... but I'd have to see how Bethesda would go about letting NPC's rob you.

If they improve the Radiant AI system, who knows, NPCs maybe able to go to jail? Or actually pay the fine.

I have to say i love the idea alltough you should be able to buy like a "strongbox" or something like that where its impossible to steal from and pickpockets should only be able to steal money/jewlery and there should be some random events when you stumble upon an npc being robbed and you can help him or the robber and split the loot

If an NPC stole from me I'd wig out and most likely kill everyone in the city. Then after that I'd probably find it funny.
