Bedrolls

My adventurer often finds himself in the wilds or a large dungeon with no bed or chair in sight. I enjoy role-play and like to rest my avatar when it makes sense for him to be tired and/or in pain, but dislike using the rest button on those occasions. It just feels unnatural. Anyway, I've been thinking on getting a bedroll mod, but am unsure which is the best and safest currently available. I looked at Real Sleep Extended but sort of rule it out since I don't need a mod to role-play being sleepy (at my age it comes naturally) and would just disable its timescale adjustment features (I leave mine set at 10).

I don't necessarily prefer simple, but any additions to the bedroll itself would need to appeal to my play-style. I also seem to recall that at one time one of the bedroll mods somehow contributed to save-game bloat, which I of course want to avoid.

Which mod or mods, if any, should I consider?

Thanks in advance!

i use Imperial Furniture which sells a bed roll. no bloat problems.

here's a link to the new updated version.

This is what I use as recommended in Delte's thread of immersion mods: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=21944

The bors bedrolls mod certainly works. However, I will be shameless and state that it is quite a bit inferior to the bedroll mod that is part of Real Sleep Extended, for a number of reasons, one of them the issue mentioned in the Bors Bedroll readme - it allows you to drop multiple bedrolls without unnecessary savegame bloat.

Other ways Real Sleep Extended's bedrolls are better are: It is the only bedroll mod that is 100% compatible with See You Sleep, it lets you adjust the bedroll weight in the ini file, it is the only bedroll mod where the beggars will place out new bedrolls some time after you steal them, and where beggars will take your bedrolls if you leave them unguarded outside, and it has better placement of the dropped bedrolls.

It is actually fully possible to use Real Sleep Extended and disable the sleep parts of them mod while enabling the bedroll feature, so you could try that.
