Switching Game Language

Post » Thu Aug 19, 2010 4:05 am

I'd like to know if we will be able to switch the game language. I live in Germany but I'd like to play the game in english, so I'll need to switch the german version to english.

Of course I could order the UK version of the game, but then I'll have to wait some additional days until I receive it ;)

Well there tends to be language options in games, but you never know... and by the time we can 100% verify it it may be getting rather late. I wouldn't get your hopes up... but then again I'm a raging pessimist.

As far as I know the German version supports German only. At least that's what a friend of me said and he owns a gameshop.

Then i cancel my german preorder and swich to a UK copy.
German in ETQW was allready a joke and judging from the preview videos, its going to be even more worst.

I know. I heard the German soundfiles and they are really bad. I ordered my US copy from Gamestop.com. This gonna be more expensive due to the taxes but I will get the game in time and with the original soundfiles (I hope the game is worth the money). They will send it on the 10th which means I'm gonna get on the 12th. I couldn't play it on the 10th anyway because I'm getting the PC version which runs with Steam. Steam won't unlock the game before the 13th for us Euro guys :(.
I don't guarantee this info about the soundfiles. I called him again because I thought he already has Brink on stock. He will get the game on Monday or Tuesday and couldn't tell me what the box says. But reffering to the info of his saler the game won't have any other soundfiles than the German ones.

Quote from badman on SD forum : "The German console version of Brink does not come with the English language files. Plan your purchases appropriately. ;)"
