Who do they know you as? (Sheogorath related)

Post » Wed Aug 18, 2010 6:33 pm

Ok, so this thread is to assume that what happened in SI really happened.

So, once you become a duke/duchess, do the citizens still know you as the CoC? Do Sheogorath and Haskill still know?

And once you become Sheogorath, do they know you as Sheogorath, Duke/Duchess and the Coc? Sheogorath and the duke? Or just Sheogorath? Does Haskill still know?

You're never the Champion of Cyrodiil in the Isles, you're Sheogoraths Champion, Champion of the Isles, the COI, not the COC.

That sounds right. I'm not too sure about the thing with being the Duke/Duchess and Sheogorath though, wouldnt that kind of be like being the President of the U.S. and the governor of one of the states? I'm pretty sure thats not allowed, but I might be wrong.

That's a good point...why can't you appoint a new Duke/Duchess of Dementia and Mania? Both die in the MQ.

You know what I mean, though. As your player character.

Since Madgod trumps Duke I imagine it's that, kind of like how Prince Philip is also the Duke of Edinburgh, but nobody calls him Duke Philip.

Indeed. But I mean, do they still remember you as your previous self. (So to speak)

You're the new duke. You obviously weren't before because there was that other Duke so you must have been something else. Unlike when you become Sheogorath, people aren't calling you Thadon at any rate. Once you're Sheogorath, I don't think it matters anything any more. You can do what ever you like, within reason (sic).

You stop being Duke/Duchess once you become Defender of the Realm really. It's too bad you can't appoint new dukes for the realm. I mean, Glarthir would make a great Duke of Dementia, and I'd vouch for Pad-Ei as Duke of Mania (he called me "sparkles").

My vote for Duchess of Mania would be that adorable Khajit with no shoes that runs around saying "Niii Niiii Niiii..."

You couldn't keep her sitting down for audiences.
