My guess would be 'very slim/impossible' - due to the fact that the CoC can contract disease (and isn't hailed as the Nerevarine everywhere he goes). I ask for RP reasons; I imagine a lot of people use pretty much the 'same character' in TES games - is there any justification whatsoever for this view?

Were there diseases in OB (aside from vampirism)? I cant remember.

I never use the same character in multiple TES games precisely *because* it's nearly impossible for the hero of one game to be the hero of another.
Not to say that anyone else shouldn't. If you want to retcon it in your head, feel free. But I would agree that the chances are very slim.

People usually roleplay their own toon from previous installment. Usually though, I think it is more correct that it is different heroes in each installment.

yea its impossible, because you can hear people talking around town in oblivion about how the nerevarine is on an expidition to skyrim to reclaim the outer teritorries or something like that, i havent played OB in months

One thing to note, the Nerevarine is still infected with Corprus disease, but all the bad effects (insanity, cancerous growth, constant pain from boils) have been removed. Since (s)he is still infected with Corprus disease, (s)he is immune to disease, and age.

Yeah, but the cool thing about TES is that things can always just be rumors.
And for the record, I always use the same character and her story carries over well without any lore conflicts.

not really.... The game just takes 1 or 2 years (someone who plays the same char might reach 4)
But an advlt person wouldn't age much physically much in that time....

Highly doubtful that Azura would admit Nerevarine to become Divine Crusader or Sheogorath, I think.

It's possible if you willfully ignore/mod out the disease bit. After all, it's only a rumor that he went to akavir. And most people (especially in the Imperial province) would only recognize the Nerevarine by a general description. "Oh, she's a wood elf. Kinda short, long blonde hair... a little like you, I guess." Azura doesn't control the Nerevarine's destiny anymore. After the MQ almost all prophecy that she was responsible for was resolved and any hold on you other than being your reincarnated self's liege-lord was relinquished. After Tribunal, all prophecy was resolved. This way, we don't have to think about Azura manipulating the Nerevarine into stopping Hircine's Bloodmoon, because that is highly unlikely, as Bloodmoon didn't cause anything to change, to dusk or dawn as it were.
