First of all, I can't remember how to get mouselook on Arena. I'm running it in Dosbox.

Secondly, I just read this on Wikipedia:
In 2005, the CD-ROM version was released on a limited edition re-issue for PC. This version included DOSBox, which would install automatically onto the computer, so the user would have no compatibility issues. The cover was in the same style of Morrowind.

Where was this sold, and can I see pictures?

EDIT: Ok, I found out you can mouselook... but how? There's no options page? Is there a key config somewhere? I can't find a config file either.

Double edit: From googling, it seems you can't change the controls or have "true" mouselook. Is that correct? It's just arrow keys + mouse to swing sword?

The reissue was just a demo disc, it wasn't anything special, trust me.

And you are correct, it is 2D like Doom or Wolfenstein 3D, so you can only move with the arrow keys and attack with the mouse.

Are you sure you're not talking about Daggerfall?

As far as I remember there was no way to remap the keys in Arena.

They aren't talking about remapping keys in-game. Dosbox has its own internal keymapper by using Ctrl-F1.

I wonder if someone could make a mod that added mouselook. I guess probably not. Too bad someone didn't try to remake Arena on the Daggerfall engine! I actually really like Arena. It's so cool just seeing all the classic races, names, people who Bethesda has had literally from the start. They really haven't made it up as they went along (well, obvously some, but still, Tiber Septim, The Dark Brotherhood, all that is still the same).
