I agree with them, but I'd like to ask something else,I didn't saw other people asking.
I'm going to ask Bethesda to include high quality music!!
Yup that's right, music is a factor most people ignore in games, but since we are talking about hd expirence why shouldn't music also be hd ? or at least sd and not lower quality ?
Oblivion's music files are 192kbps mp3s, and 192kbps is lower quality of sound than a standard audio cd.
So regarding music not only Oblivion but all of today's games are stuck in LD,which stands for Low Definition.
Low Definition is anything with less quality than a standard cd,Standard Definition is the quality all audio cds we have, and High Definition is the quality above standard cds.
Standard audio cds have a sound quality of 16bit/44.1khz,which is equal to a mp3 file at 320kbps.
From what I know everyone's computers and consoles have the hardware to support such audio definition,so the question is:
Why not use that advantage ?
I am an amateur music producer myself, and I know that all you have to do to give people SD audio files is just make the right clicks to select the right properties before exporting the audio file from your D.A.W.
It's just some minutes of work, and since everyone's system will be able to play that sound quality I don't get why this isn't done already not only by Beth, but from other developers also.
But I post that here because I know Beth tries to do the best possible for their games before their release,so I have a hope that someone will hear my plea and add at least Standard Definition (320kbps mp3) audio files in Skyrim.
