So I'm going to be getting DF soon, and I'm wondering what class I should take. I want something that is easy to play, without much knowledge of the game. I'm not leaning toward mage/thief/warrior much, I just want something that wont get me killed while I try to learn what I'm doing.

Then you can go ahead with the Warrior class.

It has In addition to having six weapon skills, he has climbing, jumping, running, dodging, swimming and medical. The warrior also doesn't have class restrictions, so he can use any type of weapon and armor.


But since Daggerfall has the best class creation system of every TES games, you might be interested in fully customizing your character with advantages/disadvantages and more.
Select "Custom" in the class list when you want to create your own.

One important thing though...

If you plan to play as any kind of spellcaster and your class is custom built, pick one magicka multiplier otherwise you'll have very little magicka to cast any kind of spells.
