Daggerfall trips and ticks

Hellooo *toothy grin*

having a bit of difficulty with dungeons at the moment. I'm about level 5 and I was kicked out of my guild for accidentally falling asleep in the street, but it's really hard trying to get back in!

I got a quest to find a book to increase reputation. However anyone I ask seems to reply "Find this person at (my home) since he may be of help" I dont have a home!

I then got a quest to kill an imp. Went on the dungeon-trawl and killed about 3 in the lower sections, then returned to speak to the mage in question and nothing happens (won't even speak). Have I messed something up or are these bugs? Thanks...

1.) In town loiter, don't rest outside, only at the inn.

2.) you didn't kill The RIGHT imp. The quest giver won't respond until you complete or fail the quest.
As a note, "The kill the xxx imp" quest from the mage guild usually directs you to a palace (large home) in a town, not to a dungeon....

There are two of those quests for the Mage's Guild. You're referring to the in-guild quest; there's another one for non-guild members, which indeed does send you to a dungeon. The rest of your advice is correct, though. :)

Your right! - I always join the Mage guild in the first town I can, so I forgot about the non-member quests.
