On the internet

Ads being louder than the video is crappy.
When parents publicly trash their partners on Facebook - I like a good [censored] fight as much as the next person, but when kids are involved it just makes me uncomfortable. When they do it to their kids it's even worse.

Jesus, how can so many people in this thread not tell the difference between 'sight' and 'site'!?

I didn't realize they changed the meaning of "many" to "two"

After ten minutes of pondering, I'm quickly coming to the resolve that anything and everything that I might dislike about the internet is inherently about the people behind it.
bad services = lazy people who just don't wanna work for a living.
shoddy connections = greedy people who won't upgrade the existing infrastructure.
facebook and twitter = lots of people together.

So, what it would seem to boil down to is; people.
But that would be too easy.
I think, for me, that it's the virtual close proximity to certain types of people that become unavoidable while online.

It makes me all to aware of the morons in the world that I can otherwise happily shut myself off from.

Obviously, I'm not talking about anyone here.

We're the cool people, cuz we dance disco :disco:

Youtube comments must be the new way for retards to express themselves.

Comments about justin bieber, rebecca black, "thumbs up if...", comments about the number of dislikes, etc... :banghead:

4. Moderators without a since of humor.

Yes yes, this is a big one here..or them being way too serious and always seemingly eager to ban or warn someone. =/

Side note: This is not an insinuation or an implication towards our mods here.

Web sites that keep incorporating the latest tech into their site with no regard that it hurts people who browse on dial up.

Ehh actually there are a couple of sites where the video loading is slower than usual. I have to refresh to solve the problem, although it doesn't always fix it.

Image hosting sites where you click a thumbnail image and then get a larger thumbnail, which you have to click again to view the full image.

Gameplay videos on youtube where the author feels he/she has to shove their music tastes down your throat instead of having ingame sound.

When people refer to the player character as a "toon"

It just sounds so wrong

I've noticed this mostly on this forum but let's say a new game is coming out and people are unsure of it and they say "if done right it could be a good game"

I mean just think about that for a moment. If it's done right of course it wouldn't be a bad game. "If it's done right" as opposed to done wrong? If the game was done wrong then it could be a bad game. Really? Duh.

*People who attack others opinions, instead of offering their own side in a polite way

*People who write in annoying shortened form (u kno wht i men?)

*People on you tube who post those "you say (insert crappy pop band), i say (insert crappy "metal" band).

*The annoying debates [censored]/girls get into when a lead singer of a band is replaced

*People who are incredibly mean and rude and insulting to people,( really, I watch this Lp'er and vlogger on youtube, and some of the comments I see about her are really cruel, and insulting, not to mention vulgar.)
