I'm super excited. I keep double clicking the Play button on Steam, hoping it will start the decryption process, but nothing T.T

Edit: Try to ignore the negative comments. If you cant, I recommend taking a break from the forums and just enjoy Brink when its out. Forums will always be full of negative people.

People are posting negative comments because they got it illegally and don't know about the patch. However, @zombiespy posted a very positive review, so I'm even more excited!

The majority of bad threads are crated by new people who think this is Call of Duty.

You haven't seen negativity until you've been on the APB forums when it was still up and running. Everyday there would be new threads about glitches, hackers, gameplay, and all that jazz. APB is done now, but the "reloaded" version will be out for open beta on the 18th.

People are going to have differing opinions, but it's not going to stop me from having a good time with Brink. I'm just waiting for the 10th to come.

The only thing that does concern me is the mods that people have already managed to get in the game. Now the video I saw was most likely to be a private match.

I saw that vid as well and long as that's the best the modders can do then its not a huge worry. though im thinking that was a offline match with low gravity on to be quite honest and he called it a mod to try to be cool? To me mods are dumb they were funny in Boarder lands. But in brink there not needed i want to enjoy this game to the limitless amount of fun it will be

He got an invite, so he probably played it with someone else ONLINE, meaning.. Yeah :l

I'm just afraid I will experience this kind of [censored] when I jump in

I think the only thing he managed to do is get mods on a private match. I don't know if its different from Multiplayer though. Like @Completexsanity said, if thats the best they can do, there is not much to worry about.

Don't worry my community friend if you encounter that jump mod simply shoot him out of the sky. Hes a sitting duck. I for one before i touch online plan to do a AI match or whatever i can to practice the controls and get a good feel for it all before i begin my. Run on helping my team and shooting Resistance players. (Granted i'll be joining that side after i get my first character all finished). But still i believe SD will have these fixed before to long and the modders will be gone to there next game.

2 years ago, i heard about Brink, and fell in love after only a few minutes.
2 days from now, my long wait will finally be over, and the Epic of Epic Epicness shall begin!
