Buying houses and...their rooms seperate?

Another weird thing about Oblivion. You would buy a house and then buy the needs for your house. When all is said and done, you go to your house and everything is in its place. Personally for me this took the fun out of buying the house...almost seemed as if I wasted 25,000K. I hope in Skyrim, if you do get to buy houses, there are certain stores to where there is a selection of categorized items and a large variety of them and can place them wherever you want them. Such as carpets, tables, display cases, etc. Just another one of my thoughts that I don't think anyone has thought of yet. What are your guys' opinions on this? Cause I'll say it again personally it took the fun out of it for in Oblivion.

Not really a huge deal for me, but I would rather just have one set price for the whole house because it's basically useless when you buy it to begin with, and I would like to be able to move/add/change furniture somehow

Good point. I was always kinda like 'Meh....' when buying a house, because it cost so much money - I mean, heck, in the Imperial City we paid like, what, a total of like 20k for a tiny shack? I mean, geeze... It'd be a lot cooler if we were able to personalize our houses. Maybe with trophies we get from quests (You helped defend some warrior, he gives you a gold shield that you can either use or put on your wall - or both?). I'd love it if where were more customization options in Skyrim than there were in Oblivion.

I like the idea of variety. As it is in Oblivion, you simply get to choose how furnished the house will be. Being able to personalize my house with a variety of items/furnishing would be very cool.
