Form ID Finder 4 Keypress

Post » Wed Aug 18, 2010 9:36 pm

Hi,

I seem to be having a bit of issue with the keypresses registering in some mods. It's happened in a couple where the keys just don't seem to be noticed but the main example I can think of is Form ID Finder 4. I've tried it with the mouse option and with the mouse option set to 0 and the keys set to 'o' and 'p' but it still doesn't seem to register.

The only time I have seem the screen work was once while switching between another app and oblivion the form id scroll popped up.

Keypresses do work with Running Revised - for sprint key.

(This may be a wine issue as I am running oblivion through wine in linux - sorry if this complicates things.)

I recommend using refscope if you have difficulties with formid finder. It gives alot more info anyway.

Getting the same issue with Refscope I think. Certainly X and pretty much any of my game keys, activate included, doesn't do anything.

(edit) Oh, and it's definitely loaded the Refscope quest.

The Refscope spell works as does the menu and I can choose a hotkey the key in the menu ok, but when I try and use it in the game it doesn't work. Also once in scope mode (by activating the spell rather than with the key) the second keypress doesn't work so I can't actually make scope mode do anything other than glow.

OK,

I've been messing about with my own Global Quest Script to test this out and I can confirm that some of the OBSE keypress functions don't work under Wine (at least for Wine 1.2).

isKeyPressed3 Doesn't WorkisKeyPressed2 WorksOnKeyDown Doesn't Work

In case anyone else is interested.

Not sure what the difference between these OBSE functions is though that is causing these different behaviors.
