What is the difference between resist fire and fire shield

You can't be like this. This is the 2nd time I see you do this. This is a forum for asking. A member here can describe more than google. Some people don't use google.

"Resist" reduces the amount of damage you take, while "Shield" reduces damage and increases your armour. Those two links will provide more thorough information :)

Fire Shield gives you shield and Fire Resist, I would go with Element(*) Shield. I use this as enchantment and spells.

* Fire, Shock and Frost.
