Recently when I try to run daggerfall of DOSbox things have been weird.

When i first got the game all I had to do was the basic:

MOUNT C:
C: \DOSBX\DAGGER\DF\DFCD.. etc. etc. and the rest was history.

Now when I try to mount C (the drive i've always used) it tells me it doesn't exist, but after a while I figured it out by just putting

MOUNT C: :\C or whatever it was. But then this is where I get stuck. It won't let me do the

DOSBX\DAGGER\... etc. etc. it says that's an illegal command, which apparently it wasn't 3 or 4 months ago. I can open one folder at a time, (which does nothing really) with

C: [name of folder]

but anything past that is 'illegal command'. Any suggestions or am I just being stupid and missing the obvious right now. ( I've tried typing exactly what my 'old' startup was numerous times, so something has changed ) Thanks ahead of time for any help! And sorry if I did something in the post I wasn't supposed to ( I dunno what that'd be anyway ). :sweat:

Don`t know much about DOSbox and your problem but you could try uninstalling and downloading DaggerfallSetup.exe from http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Daggerfall:Files . This will install the game with numerous bugfixes and you won`t need to mount anything to play the game.
