Dlc Wizard's Tower

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 3:01 pm

I'm just starting to play this game. Got to level 15 and had to restart due to an "unbalanced character". Didn't realize there was such a thing. So now I'm looking at mods to equalize the leveling process.

Someone mentioned Wizard's Tower as a plug in to get. The last update on the forum was six months ago (why?) that the download portal was under maintenance but it's still under maintenance today. Does that mean this game is no longer supported at all?

Is there anywhere else (legal) to get this plug in or other good ones?

Obliviondownloads.com has been "under maintenance" since last May. At this point, it's highly unlikely that the "maintenance" will ever be finished. You can still get Wizard's Tower from the Knights of the Nine DLC Collection disc, if you can find it. It has everything but Battlehorn Castle (aka Fighter's Stronghold). You may be able to purchase Wizard's Tower by itself from Steam (but I don't know for sure as I don't use steam).

You can buy it through Steam, but you have to buy the entire game again.

Unfortunately Oblivion came out during the 'experimental' phase for DLCs, which meant that it didn't have a delivery platform like Steam or Games for Windows Live to allow secure individual downloads. Obliviondownloads.com was the temporary solution until the Knights of the Nine Collection came out.

It's worth going for the collection (http://www.direct2drive.com/2103/product/Buy-The-Elder-Scrolls-4:-Oblivion----Knights-of-the-Nine-Downloadable-Content-Collection-Download) because frankly they're all worth getting - and you can pick it up cheaper now than Knights cost on its own when it came out.

Here's the pinned topic for any further info, including alternative retail locations: http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/994001-obliviondownloadscom/
