Hi,

Motor runners helmet is stuck in my inventory. When I try to drop its it tells me that quest items cannot be dropped. How can I remove it? I don′t want to carry additional weight arround.

(Can i remove it with a console command? If yes what do I have to type in and will it have an effect on my steam account?)

i have the same exact problem as well as other objects (like Violetta's brain) getting stuck in my inventory. With Moto runners' helmet i even showed it to the NCR guy back at McCarran

Same problem for me to. Motor runners helmet is stuck in my inventory.

Quest items have no weight.

But if you complete the quest you get a non-quest marked item with weight that can be dropped.

Motor Runners helmet weighs 2 pounds the snow globes weighs 1 pound, and still cant be dropped

Cannot drop quest items either!

Quite annoying especially when they have weight.

This needs to be fixed!!!!

Most modders haven't finished the game yet But there is a fix for the motor helm on newvegasnexus. Someone will get around to fixing them so quest items either have no weight or are dropable in the future.

removes the helmet

edit: i got alot of questitems stuck in my invent, and from what i can tell, they do not add any weight, for example i have 999 on each of the NCR parts (dont ask..), and yet im only at 500/999 weight, where if they would count as weight i should have been overencumbered by now reaching 5000+ which it obviously doesnt

it's funny... I did the "NCR wants Motor's head" quest, and I traded him his helmet. Did the quest, got paid, kept his helmet. Later I did quests for the Khans, and they sent me to Motor too, and the only options I had was to .... trade him for his helmet! So I got 2 Motor Helmets and I probably could have gotten a third but I got bored and introduced him to Ms Antimaterial.

The two helmets were stuck, I couldn't drop them because they were "quest objects"
