Are deadric weapons and armor always going to be most powerful or are there weapons and armor which are stronger? If so name them and there location id like to know the most powerful sword, armor etc in lore.

Start looking here: http://www.imperial-library.info/artifacts/. Some of those artifacts are bound to be better than standard issue Daedric.

But really you're mixing up game mechanics and lore...

On average, a piece of Daedric armor as worn by the Dremora Lords* is the strongest base set of armor and weapons to be encountered in Tamriel.

However, individual Artifacts of various origins can far outvalue any of these rank and file suits of armor or weapons. Just to give an example, the cuirass Lord's Mail can probably absorb damage far better than the average Dremora captain's cuirass, which is often simply called a "Daedric Cuirass" by mortals, and it can heal the user and cure poisons to boot. It's much lighter, too. And that's just one example...if you wanna talk about weapons, Goldbrand does far more damage in the long run to creatures not resistant to fire, or better yet weak to it, and even without its charge it easily rivals a Daedric longsword. Stendarr's hammer could kill a giant in a single blow (if anyone could lift it.)

(let's be honest, it should really be called Dremora Soldier Armor. There are countless varieties of Daedric armor and weapons in existence. Other examples include the Daedric Artifacts themselves and sets of Golden Saint and Dark Seducer armor.)

Most rank and file Dremora do wear "Dremora armor" with quality depending on the Dremora's rank. Only the Valkynaz have "Daedric" gear.

Edit: And I guess the Xivilai also sometimes have Daedric weapons...

Does the complete set of the Armor of the Savior's Hide count?

I thought it was just a cuirass.

Game mechanic. My point is that no other creatures besides Dremora and Xivilai, which are usually associated with Dagon, are depicted using these items. In Morrowind, Golden Saints occasionally used the weapons and shields but had their own armor. In Shivering Isles they have their own weapons, along with the Dark Seducer. All the "Daedric armor/weapons" in the game could really just be called Dremora armor/weapons.

Nope, it's a complete armor set from Battlespire (not very clear on the game's mechanics, but I believe a mix between quake and daggerfall). Also this:
The cuirass, along with the other component of the Savior's Hide armor, plays a significant role during the Battlespire issue. With this set of armor, the Hero of Battlespire was able to wield the Spear of Bitter Mercy and use it to banish Mehrunes Dagon back to Oblivion. After that, the cuirass is owned by Divayth Fyr, an ancient Sorcerer and also a collector extraordinaire. Divayth Fyr is a Telvanni Wizard that lives in his tower Tel Fyr, which can be found south of Tel Aruhn, Vvardenfell, Morrowind. The whereabouts of the rest of the Savior's Hide armor are unknown.
That's from TIL's artifacts section. It's the most conscise description I could readily find.

Interestingly, most of the battlespire books on the subject point to Malacath as its creator. But this obviously this is a lie from a previous age.

Isn't it supposed to be Hircine's actual hide, which he shed, or am I mistaken?

I think "Daedric" may just be the mortal-given label to those items, seeing as how they seem the most commonly seen Daedra-made gear in Tamriel.

I stand corrected.

Considering it is of daedric origin, it can slide. However, I find it more largely with game mechanics.

You mean the first mortal who survived the hunt. The Nerevarine survived the hunt, too, and received his own choice of prizes. Mine chose the spear, because spears are freaking awesome.
