heavy operative?

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 12:21 pm

I know it had been asked if a light operative disguises as a heavy it becomes slower. But what if it happens reverse if a heavy operative shapeshifts into a skinny guy?
Will it be able to run faster and do parqour also? And when he shifts back in combat get the advantage of being a heavy? It sounds pretty unbalanced.

That's false information. If a light disguises himself as a heavy, the light will still run the same speed. And vise versa. If a heavy disguises as a light then it will still run like a heavy.

no he'll still be a fatass
but a clever fatass... watching you... carefully
It won't really matter if the other team is defending and he doesn't have to move much but if they're attacking he'll only fool on a glance unless he takes out a Sniper-style dude or tries to fake accurate shots.

disguise does not change your SMART. if you are a light disguised as heavy, you are fast, if you are a heavy disguised as a light, you move slow.

but will you get the body type of the one you disguise yourself as or just his clothing?
A fast heavy would be really suspicious

you get the 'look' of the body type, so you have to be smart.

If I ever saw a fast Heavy my first reaction would be freak out, cause it's inhumanly possibly. Unless he has worked extensively with cardio. :bolt:

You look identical to the person you disguise as. So if you see a heavy climbing higher than he should, or a light who walks around the long way, you should be suspicious.

In the light disguising as a heavy scenario, i imagine they are able to mimic the moving speed.

If a heavy disguises as a light, though, it should be painfully obvious unless no one is paying attention.

A heavy operative would likely not have a focus on disguising, since his speed and limited locations (will probably be limited to the main objective under most situations) would prevent him from "sneaking" around to disguise himself secretly. I'd venture to guess that a heavy Ops main purpose would be to survive combat to hack radars and to do any hack objective around the map.

Idk why no one understands. Your body type does not change, you just put the enemies clothes on. It woukd make no sense to lose or gain weight just because you disguise as them. To answer your question, you move and look the same when it comes to body size. The only difference is you put on enemy clothes.

yes SD confirmed that a dsiguise makes you look exactly like the victim including body type. why? its the future. if a city can be made out of coral, then people can change their size without changing thier speed.

thats pretty interesting, adds whole new tactics to the disguising. Seeing a light disguised as a heavy and running fast would be hilarious tbh, or seeing a heavy parkour =\

when i watched video it said to reveal a disguised enemy you must incap them, or if they do something. Will friendly fire be on? is there a risk of team kills? or just wasting ammo?

i think FF is on, but also, if the victim gets close enough to the op, then the disguise will fail. and the op can only move around. if they attack or interact they lose te dsiguise. and dsiguise won't work if you are seen while disguising yourself.

Basically if your disguising yourself , disguise as your own body type so people won't be suspicious.

Again, other people have said it here; you appear to lose/gain weight, but only for the sake of appearance, not ability.

Heavy Op Disguising isn't about "ooh now I can get around faster.

it's about sneaky sneaky "OH *#&$ HOW DID THAT MINIGUN GET BEHIND US?"
