Pirates/Ships/Sailing etc. etc.

So I'm going sailing this weekend with some friends, (which I haven't been able to do recently) and started thinking about TES and ships, and everything in between. Probably because my friends and I usually use some small two-man single mast sailing boats that are used mostly for racing, and also because of whats been on the news maybe? But that's beside the point. The Questions I have are as followed.

I. In TES Lore, are there any memorable or known Pirates or Ships, that were infamous for pirating or smuggling? Anything to do like that would help. Even some major sea battle somewhere would be great.

II. Is there anywhere specific, that you are certain I could find some information on these ships, pirates, smugglers etc. that could help me the best.

III. Would ships like a Frigate, Man-of-War, Barque etc. etc. be suitable in the TES world for ships? I suppose they would, but I'm just not quite sure how big of ships the world of TES has? Maybe the largest is only a Barque or maybe even a Schooner!

Answers to these will be greatly appreciated. :)

Thanks. Guess I'll just have to work on seeing what else I can find on other Pirates, and ships. Surprised I over looked that 'Cap'n Dugal' character.
